Bridesmaids chronicles the adventures of Annie, as a competition between the maid of honor and a bridesmaid, over who is the bride's best friend, threatens to upend the life of the out-of-work pastry chef. This female lead cast brought a more subtle and relate-able comedy to the screen (apart from THAT scene) which, along with how the cast interacted with each other made this the most popular R rated comedy of all time.
