Los Angeles, I love you - The wildfires of the past few days have been devastating. During times like this I just want to stay home and take comfort in my safe space.

But so many people have lost that comfort - their homes, possessions, neighborhoods, and entire communities - all gone in a matter of hours. The scale of the destruction is staggering; the Palisades fire alone is nearly twice the size of Guernsey, my home island -  that being wipe out twice over, is crazy.
